Warning... Warning...

This is to the Fairhope constituents:

In just under 36 hours I will be invading your space. As you well know, I have not been there for one year. That's right, 8,784 hours or 366 days or 12 months - however you choose to look at it. I thought I should give proper notice as you may not remember what my vehicle or my person looks like in your driveway. I do not want you sending the cat out to attack me.

Let it be known, you have been warned in advance of my upcoming arrival.

Thank you - Me.

Fairhope is prepared and excited about this long overdue visit. How long will you be able to stay? There are some places that you need to photograph.

The plan is for me to make my departure by 9am Sunday. This way I will hopefully, actually, leave around noon. ;)

Which means that I should really start heading home mid to late afternoon.

To prepare your room, the following additional information is requested: how many adults? how many children? Estimated time/date of arrival? Welcome beverage requested?

Your confirmation code is: C U SOON.

RE: C U SOON

Dear TLM,

Please be advised that my departure from my area will be delayed a bit due to a meeting with my accountant. While hopefully that will not require much of my valuable time, I'm certain that due to those fucking capital gains and the general monetary growth of my portfolio last summer, this will not simply be a stop and drop. I could be wrong, as this is the first time I've ever decided to have someone else prepare my taxes. At that time, I will be in the lovely city of Waynesboro, so if there is anything that your party would like me to take care of, please advise me prior to Thursday mornings departure.

I will be a party of one. No other adults and no children will be accompanying me this excursion. Please notice that I said PARTY of one. My estimated time of arrival Thursday is tentatively 1:00 p.m. CST. I would appreciate any beverage that is available upon arrival, though the thought of DiSaronno on the rocks will probably facilitate a faster speed of approach.

Again, I thank you in advance for the offer of hospitality and I look forward to enjoying your facilities.

Take care - Me
